ORIGIN Promise

Every kid who wants to play should get to play.

Youth softball has gotten expensive, and good families are feeling it. ORIGIN Promise exists so that cost and access are never the reason a willing kid has to walk away.

Here's how, below

What we're up against

The game we love has gotten expensive.

The fastest game on dirt keeps getting more expensive to play.

Travel ball, showcases, gear, tournament weekends. Good families are quietly being priced out of a game their kids love. The talent is still there. The heart is still there. For too many kids, the only thing missing is a way to afford the chance.

That is a problem worth solving. And it can be solved, together.

The promise

Open the door.
Widen the path.
Keep every kid in the game.

ORIGIN Promise is a foundation built to make the game reachable again. For the player who needs a hand with the cost. For the family stretching to keep their kid on the field. For the coaches and officials who give the game their time. For the kid who just needs a chance, and a place to belong.

Fastpitch softball is the game this foundation was born in, and it is the game we serve. Every program, every fund, every promise here is for the kids who play it.

That is the promise. The name on the door.

Bigger than a scholarship

The whole game deserves a hand.

ORIGIN Promise lifts the whole game: not one player for one season, but players, coaches, officials, and access alike. Every part of the game matters, and every part is worth lifting.

Players

Access

So cost is never the gate between a willing kid and the field.

Families

Support

For the household stretching to keep a kid in the game.

Coaches

Training

So every kid who shows up is taught well, by someone supported to do it.

Officials

Investment

In the umpires the game cannot run without, and few ever fund.

The path

Opportunity

Development open to anyone willing to earn it, from a first glove forward.

Community

Belonging

Because every kid deserves a team glad they showed up, and a place that feels like theirs.

How we're building it

Carefully, and for keeps.

We are at the beginning, and we are building it the right way, one program, one fund, one supporter at a time. Something real, made to last, not a splash that fades. We would rather earn this than announce it.

The world we're building toward

Picture a game where cost is never the gate.

Where every willing kid plays, whatever the family can pay. Where coaches and umpires are trained and supported instead of stretched thin. Where the road from a first glove to a real future is open to anyone willing to work for it. We know how good that sounds. We also believe it is possible, and we intend to help build it.

Questions, answered

Fair questions. Straight answers.

What is ORIGIN Promise?

A Georgia nonprofit foundation working so that cost and access are never the reason a willing kid has to walk away from fastpitch softball. We fund player access, family support, coach training, and the officials the game runs on.

Is ORIGIN Promise a 501(c)(3)?

We are a Georgia nonprofit corporation, and our federal 501(c)(3) application is pending. The day it is determined, this page will say so.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Deductibility depends on our pending 501(c)(3) determination, and your own situation is a conversation for your tax advisor. What we can promise today is a clear answer the moment our status changes.

Who does the foundation serve?

Fastpitch softball, whole: the player priced out, the family stretching, the coach who needs training, the umpire the game cannot run without, and the park director keeping the fields the game is played on. One game, every part lifted.

How is this different from a scholarship?

A scholarship helps one player for one season. We are building programs that lift players, families, coaches, and officials together, so the game itself gets more reachable every year.

How can I help right now?

Become a founding supporter, or start a conversation at hello@originpromise.org. We are early, we are careful, and the right people at the table now shape everything that follows.

There is a seat at this table

Come build it with us.

The talent is out there. The resources aren't. We're changing that.

We are looking for the builders, the backers, the coaches, and the families who refuse to accept that a child's ZIP code or family budget dictates their ceiling in this game. Talent shouldn't be sidelined by a price tag. Let's build a level playing field, together.
